Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics for HVAC Equipment

Sensors are installed on HVAC equipment such as pumps to monitor equipment based on parameters including shaft vibration, current, and rotational speed.
This technology is based on systems developed by Hitachi Plant Construction, Ltd., and uses algorithms that diagnose degradation based on operating parameters by combining process computer data and equipment models, while also performing degradation monitoring using inspection and measurement data to provide equipment degradation diagnostics.
By collaborating with Hitachi Plant Construction, Ltd. and proposing optimal solutions to customers, we will enhance equipment reliability and improve maintenance efficiency.

Key Features of Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics for HVAC Equipment

Utilization of Existing Chillers as Is

Data measurement is performed by installing external sensors without modification of existing chillers. Measurement data are analyzed and diagnosed based on accumulated operational know-how, technologies, and expertise in chiller operation.

Detection of Anomalous Signs

By applying this system, compressor vibration, acoustic signals, and other parameters are measured, and normal data are accumulated. The accumulated data is grouped to create training datasets. These datasets are compared with diagnostic data to detect early signs of anomalies.
